Homes in La Tamborada fall from $ 59,000 to 31,000; the state subsidizes


The Government determined to lower the cost of social housing in the La Tamborada condominium (the sports exvilla in the south) by 30 percent. In 2018 and early 2019, the apartments that cost $ 59,000 with the right to garage and storage are currently offered at $ 31,000. However, the regularization of documents will take about two years.

The general director of the State Housing Agency, Noemí Bautista, explained that the departments are subsidized with more than 30 percent and the Government will only recover 70 percent.

Until recently, to buy one of these departments on credit, those interested should have a monthly income of 7,000 Bolivians. The official clarified that this was the real cost of housing. “The difference, because it is going to benefit the families … It was important that families know that they are going to give credit (…). We have done the work to be able to see who we can benefit, that is why these departments have now been subsidized, ”he said.

He said that in the two years that the sanitation of documents lasts,

the presale will be carried out and those interested can already live in the place paying a monthly amount, without interest, directly to the State Housing Agency, and another part for the condominium expenses. In La Tamborada condominium there are 644 apartments, located in 14 buildings of 12 floors. They are houses of 89 and 88 square meters, which cost 30,600 to 31 thousand dollars.

Those interested should go to the offices of the State Housing Agency, at kilometers 8.5 of Blanco Galindo Avenue, to calculate how much their monthly income must be to acquire one of these departments. These homes are also available to young people, within the framework of the project launched by the Government.

In 2018, the condominium did not have the approval of the draft of the subdivision of the urbanization and procedures of the plans.

In 2018, when the apartments in La Tamborada condominium were put up for sale, many people took the opportunity to deceive those who were asking for money to secure the purchase, informed the director general of the State Housing Agency, Noemí Bautista.
